Welcome to Peter Friemer

During the studium, Peter Friemer began as solo- and choir-coach. Three years he worked for the theatre in Bremen and composed various theatre-music. It always concerned the fusion from different musical styles. Thus Friemer connects for example African style elements with modern mix of scraches for a play from Shakespeare, which playing in Africa. The journey went far into the national theatre Darmstadt. For Darmstadt Friemer wrote the music to two big shows. Then stations followed among other things in the theatre upper living, national stage Wilhelmshaven, national theatre Darmstadt, theatre Heidelberg, national theatre Braunschweig, theatre Karlsruhe, national theatre Kassel etc.. In the meantime Peter Friemer became acquainted with the Czech director Ivan Pokorny, with the Friemer some interdisciplinary row in Bremen. It always concerned co-operation between professionals and amateurs. Pokorny carried Friemer forward to Prague and comes in such a way it that Peter Friemer produces the music to meanwhile 9 Czech television films written more.

Important for me is to work with musical extremes. I like the fusion of unusual instrument occupations. Elegiac effect of a cello in the opposite for the force potential of an e-guitar lets attraction and harmony tendencies develop their attraction. I also love itself the use of traditional instruments, for example, water drum, Oud, Zurna, Baglama, or Ocarina. The sounds of such instruments with their magic, attractive, seductive effect on the spirit open the door into a further association world. For example, in the prologue for the dance and music pageants " Paradise and Daemon”, I use beside a pulled e-guitar, only water drum, Persian drum, Ocarina and a Shaker.I may interconnect it different styles of wordmusic. The common compilation of a thing as well as amateur I find often more exciting, than an implementing of an order for a professional production.Beyond that, Friemer composes also Jingles and compiles music for Websites.
I want to move people in heard. I want to show them everything is possible if they really want to do something. Moving is important for learning and living. A fixed branch breaks. A flexible branch at wind looks like a dancer.
